Relaxation Massage

$55 – 60 minute massage. (Client’s choice between Sports/Deep Tissue/Relaxation)
$75 – 90 minute massage.

Also known as Swedish massage, is the most well known type of massage. It refers to a variety of techniques for soft tissue manipulation, with the purpose of relaxing the muscles by applying a variety of strokes using the hands, arms, and elbows. This type of massage is excellent for stress-reduction, relieving muscle tension and increasing overall circulation of the body.

Deep Tissue Massage

$55 – 60 minute massage. (Client’s choice between Sports/Deep Tissue/Relaxation)
$75 – 90 minute massage.

A slower and more specific form of massage focused on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. A deep tissue massage will target specific areas to release adhesions, which are rigid bands of tissue that can cause pain and chronic tension. A deep tissue massage can be intense, so be sure to let the therapist know if you need more or less pressure at any time. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water after a deep tissue massage, as many built up toxins are released during the process.

Sports Massage

Sports massage assists in removing muscle adhesions, increasing flexibility, moving lactic acid out of muscle tissue, and relieving muscular discomfort before and after an event. This type of massage will help you prepare your body for optimal performance, help you to recover after a big event, and assist your body in functioning at it’s best during training. It is extremely beneficial to any athlete or weekend warrior, and will help you to give your best performance.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a style of seated massage that focuses on your back, shoulders, neck, arms, and hands. The massage sessions are typically shorter, lasting anywhere from 5 – 30 minutes. During the massage, you are seated in a special chair with your face resting in a cradle, and you arms resting on a supportive pad. Your back and neck relax while the therapist relieves muscle tension using massage techniques such as  kneading, compression and tapotement. Sports Taping

Sports Taping for Shoulder/Wrist/Ankle/Low Back/Ribs $15 (usually lasts between 3-7 days)

Otherwise known as Athletic Taping, is used to help give support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation. The general goals of athletic taping are to restrict the motion of injured joint, compress soft tissues to reduce swelling, support anatomical structure involved in an injury, serve as a splint or to secure a splint, and protect the injured joint or muscle from re-injury while the injury is in the healing process. It is also used for preventive maintenance for joints or muscles that are repeatedly used or prone to injury. We offer sports taping for a variety of areas including wrists, ankles, shoulders, knees, low back, and ribs. We also offer sports taping for Prenatal and Postnatal belly support to aid with low back pain, and a special Massage/Sports taping combination for Plantar Fasciitis. The tape can be worn while swimming, exercising, or showering, and generally lasts between 4-7 days.
